Home Health Aide

A Home Health Aide (HHA) provides basic medically oriented task(s) to maintain health or to facilitate treatment of an illness or injury provided in a person’s place of residence. HHA's also provide  basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing to the elderly or those with a disability.

Our Training Center offers a State-approved HHA course.  The HHA course is delivered online and is self-paced.  Participants only come to our facilities to take the required tests.

Who is this course for?
The class is for individuals who desire a course that will prepare you to perform routine health care tasks for individuals of various ages and health conditions.  HHA perform care services beyond the duties of a Person Care Attendant (PCA).

What are the prerequisites?
Anyone has completed a Nurse Assistant Training Course and or are listed on the Nurse Assistant Registry as active.

What do I get upon completion?
Upon completion of this program, you will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to take the Minnesota Competency Evaluation for NA/HHA and upon passed would be placed on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry as a NAR/HHA.
