1. What is Health Service Consultants Professional Home Care Services?
It is our goal to help individuals and their love ones recover from illness or live comfortably in the comfort of their homes; from seniors to infants we help clients maintain and/or increase functional living in their homes by coordinating experienced physical therapy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, home repair, bill paying. It is the partnerships between the client, their doctors, social worker, caregivers and the therapists that make our service a success.

2. What makes HSC professional home care services successful?
It is our tailored approach to creating each client's plan, no "one-size fits all" approach plus our caring team philosophy that makes the services successful. All client Care Plans are accessed and supervised by RN Case Managers 24/7, 365/days a year with vast experience in infants and senior care.

3. What is HSC licensure and level of care?
We are a licensed Class A "Hands-on" agency. Providing care from the most complicated to companionship.

4. Is HSC bonded and insured?
Yes

5. Can the company provide references?
Yes, HSC will provide references upon request.

6. What insurance polices or payments are accepted?
HSC takes MHCP for covered services, checks, visa and master card. However, some Long Term Care insurance policies that specify in-home care may.

7. What are the experience and qualifications of caregivers?
All HSC direct care employees and facilitators must be licensed and are monitored continuously; CPR and First Aid certified; fully identified - social security, driver license, background checks and drug test are passed; trained to work with vulnerable child/adult; Most of HSC trained Personal Care Assistants, Home Health Aides and Nursing Assistants are actively pursuing advanced health careers at local colleges/universities. Some have over 10 years of experience. They also undergo a thorough "training period" to adapt to the unique service.

8. Are there any costs that client should be aware of?
We do not charge for agency supervisory visits by our Registered Nurses.

9. Does the same caregiver visit each time?
Yes

10. What if the caregiver does not show?
HSC pays for caregivers to be on-call 24/7, 365/days a year

11. Does HSC assess for Medicare covered services?
Yes, we do. We make referrals for or recommend other services that the client may need.

12. How often are nurse visits done?
It has been proven that visits are determined based on care plan to meet and sustain clients' functional goals.

13. How long is each nurse visit?
Approximately 2-4hours Usually

14. How long does skilled nursing service required?
It is up to the client and/or the family. HSC follows doctors order care plans to meet recovery goals.

15. How much does the service cost?
The cost is calculated on a per case basis. Health Service Consultants does NOT charge extra for the "behind the scenes" effort that occurs with the support staff between visits. For example: communication with other professionals, caregiver training, nurses visits for progress report and supplies ordering etc. This is all part of the service and shows the commitment to the client partnership. 16. How is the billing handled?
Health Service Consultants bills insurance companies directly where applicable and for our private pay clients, we send out invoices at the end of each week to the client, trust officer, family member or anyone that the client nominates.
